I graduated in the fall of 2006 from The Art Institute of Houston, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a Major Arts and Animation. Shortly before attending AIH I studied for a year at the University of Houston’s Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture, where I studied basic design and theory segment of the course.
Much of my expertise lies in 3d animation and concept designs. Most notable skills are application of animation, UV and Unwrap texture mapping along with advanced procedural mapping. Second to texturing is advanced lighting and mental ray setup and implication of its materials. Lastly I am familiar with standard rigging and Character Studio. Next to animation I am proficient with the following programs, from simple to advanced user knowledge of Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, and Illustrator. Aside from the core programs listed before I have working knowledge of Dreamweaver, Flash, Velocity, Sound Forge, and Cleaner XL.
Aside from the core programs listed above, I am skilled in traditional art and mediums. If it was not for these core skills much of what I do would not be possible. Photography, painting, drawing, sketching, etc… are the core foundation in which my education and interests are built upon. Much of my spare time is spent drawing, sketching and just exploring various avenues of art.
